Board approves $20.3M Veolia construction amendment for SCADA upgrades
Tampa Bay Water approved a Phase 2 construction amendment with Veolia totaling approximately $20,300,000 (including about $1.3M in owner allowances) to implement SCADA upgrades at the surface water treatment plant; staff projected construction substantial completion in Dec. 2028 and final completion in Feb. 2029.

Project manager Carrie Molina presented a construction‑phase amendment with Veolia to implement supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system upgrades at the surface water treatment plant. Staff said the project reached 100% design and that the Phase 2 amendment covers construction-phase engineering, equipment, materials, construction labor and contingencies.
