Library updates policy language to reflect new regional partnership network
Commission discussed minor edits to Policy 6c to remove references to the Central Texas Library System and reflect membership in PLAN (Partner Library Action Network), now operating as a nonprofit. The library will remain a participating member.

Melinda, a library staff member, told the commission that Policy 6c was edited to reflect changes to regional library structures. "Central Texas Library System is, has been renamed to plan, which is partner library action network," she said, adding that the organization is now a nonprofit rather than a state-funded entity and the library will remain a member.
