United Electric lined up for October work on several remaining Marathon County fiber segments, BugTussle says
BugTussle told the infrastructure committee it has a contractor (United Electric) prepared to start work on multiple remaining fiber stretches in October, including the Hewitt, Stratford and East-Hadley segments and a Brokaw connection requiring bridge attachments.

BugTussle representatives provided a construction status update and said United Electric is lined up to extend fiber to the Hewitt Tower (about 2.7 miles), Stratford Water Tower (about 7.19 miles) and an East-Hadley sheriff's tower segment (about 4.5 miles), with an expected October start for some segments.
