The City of Wallis City Council voted July 29, 2026 to accept a water and wastewater rate increase identified in 'example #2' of a rate study presented by Timothy Escalante of Communities Unlimited. Councilmember Jimmy Lavergne moved the action and Councilmember Clark Main Jr. seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
