Library director: summer programs ran, cardholders up to 363
Library Director Amanda reported a small but active summer-reading program and steady growth in cardholders, saying the library now has 363 cardholders and expects potential state aid and contracts by mid-December if reporting is approved.

Amanda, the library director, reported on the summer-reading program and recent membership figures: "We had 7, readers, sign up, but we did have, 12 people sign up just for classes and things like that," she said during the director's report. Amanda also said she completed the annual report required for state aid and expects the state to notify the library about corrections in mid-September; if processing is successful, she said extra funding could arrive around mid-December when contracts are sent.
