The Hamilton County Board of Supervisors elected Rick Young as the board's chairman for 2026 during its organizational meeting on Jan. 7, 2026. "I'll make a motion to nominate Rick Young as the 2026 chairman," said a board member (speaker 1) during the nomination process; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
