Schuylkill County approves three tax-repository sales under state code
The board approved three repository sales under 72 P.S. § 5860.625, including two Gilberton Borough parcels sold to Angel D. Brown and one Girardville parcel conveyed to the borough for $1.00.

At its Aug. 12 meeting, the Schuylkill County Board of Commissioners approved three tax-repository sales pursuant to 72 P.S. § 5860.625. The minutes list parcels 44-05-0089.001 and 44-05-0090.000 (0 S. Main Street, Gilberton Borough) sold to Angel D. Brown for $1,629 each and parcel 45-06-0268.000 (136 W. Main Street, Girardville Borough) sold to the Borough of Girardville for $1.00. The minutes note municipalities and school districts previously approved the sales and that one parcel is designated for demolition.
