State resources and Indiana Realtors program offer additional relief; MiBoer deadline Nov. 11
Mayor Tom Broderick said residents can call 211 for state rental assistance (including help with down payments or first month's rent and up to 30 days of hotel stays) and described a new Indiana Realtors program (referred to in the update as MiBoer) that set aside $500,000 and provides up to $1,000 per applicant with a Nov. 11 deadline.

Broderick said state disaster resources can be accessed by calling 211; those resources include rental assistance (down payments or first month's rent) and up to 30 days of hotel stays. He said he has been in contact with state Rep. Kyle Pierce to pursue additional state funding to bolster the response.
