Jackson County commissioners on July 13 approved the purchase of an asphalt compactor for the Public Works Department. Commissioner Paul Kennamer moved the purchase from Thompson CAT for $84,750.00, and Commissioner AJ Buckner seconded; the motion carried with all votes in favor.
