The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) and Keller Associates presented the completed US‑91 corridor study, covering the highway from the Utah state line to north of Preston city limits. Nathan Cleaver of Keller Associates and Chris Pearsall of ITD summarized five years of crash data (2020–2024) showing 151 crashes, two fatalities and seven serious injuries. Cleaver said turning and angle movements accounted for roughly half of collisions and that wild‑animal strikes represented another notable share.
