Director outlines Clinton County origins, settlement dates and vanished hamlets

The director of the Clinton County Historical Association told an audience at Champlain Memorial Library that the presentation would cover “Clinton County, where we came from, who we are, all the different towns.” The talk covered Indigenous presence, early French and British-era maps, town formation dates and the rise and fall of local industries.
