Commission invokes RSMo 610.021.17 for auditor communications, holds closed session
On Aug. 18, 2026 the Christian County Commission voted to enter a closed session citing RSMo 610.021.17 (Auditor Communications); roll-call votes were unanimous and the board reconvened later the same day.

At 9:32 a.m. Presiding Commissioner Lynn Morris entertained a motion to enter closed session "per RSMo 610.021.17 (Auditor Communications) by means of roll call vote." Western Commissioner Johnny Williams moved the motion and Eastern Commissioner Bradley A. Jackson seconded. The roll-call vote to enter closed session was recorded as Aye: Williams, Jackson, Morris.
