Christian County approves MoDOT soft-match request for Parched Corn box culvert
The commission approved a Bridge Soft Match Request for the Parched Corn box culvert project to apply non-federal funds for design, contract, and inspection, which can be used toward future bridge construction or sold as credit to other counties.

Highway Administrator Miranda Beadles asked the commission to approve a Bridge Soft Match Request for the Parched Corn box culvert project. She explained the county is seeking soft-match credit from MoDOT for the use of non-federal funds to design, contract, and inspect the new box culvert at Hunter Road. Soft match credit may be applied toward construction of future bridges or sold to other counties.
