Work group votes to send governor a brief letter urging appointment confirmations
With several statutory seats expired, members asked staff to seek expedited appointments. The group voted to draft a short letter to the governor asking for timely reappointments and to report progress in the annual report.

Several members raised concern that numerous statutory positions on the work group had expired or were unfilled. Maria Bataglia volunteered to draft a short letter requesting that the governor expedite appointments and Anne Richard offered to refine the language. The motion to send a letter was moved and carried by voice vote; Chair Evan agreed to sign the letter on behalf of the group.
