Selectboard approves line-item budgets and recommends multiple warrant-article expendable trusts
At its Aug. 19 meeting the Selectboard unanimously approved several department budgets (Health Officer, Street Lighting, Debt Service, General Assistance, Forest Fires, Patriotic Purposes) and recommended multiple warrant articles including road construction ($25,000) and a $50,000 Library HVAC expendable trust.

The Chesterfield Selectboard on Aug. 19 approved multiple departmental budgets for inclusion in the 2027 town budget. Motions and unanimous votes included Health Officer at $4,416; Street Lighting at $6,000; Debt Service at $264,465; General Assistance at $20,000; Forest Fires at $1,000; and Patriotic Purposes at $1,000.
