The Fairfield Library applied for a malt-beverage permit for an event titled "To Bid or Not to Bid" scheduled Sept. 28 from 6–9 p.m. Demetrius told the board the application was in order and the Selectboard voted unanimously to approve the liquor-license request after Damian Branon moved and Ron Bocash seconded.
