The Monte Rio Recreation and Park District board voted June 8 to move forward with a partnership agreement with Daily Acts, a nonprofit organization, to support a landscape transformation project. Director Jean Sasso moved the motion; Director Brooke Maury seconded. The roll-call vote was unanimous: Chair Steve Baxman and Directors Sasso, Gatlin and Maury voted aye.
