Superintendent introduced a suggested update to the district's policy manual to remove a fixed-dollar threshold and instead reference the current simplified acquisition threshold under OMB part 200. The superintendent said the change is intended "so the policy does not have to be updated each time that number changes," and the update was introduced for the required 30-day posting period ahead of a vote in October.
