Advisory boards report; council recesses until evening

Several advisory boards gave brief reports to the council during the work session. The Finance Advisory board reviewed the proposed budget and reserves and will research investment options while continuing to review the second reading of the budget. The Planning Commission approved a plat amendment at its March meeting and will review building-code updates and the Master Plan. The Travel & Tourism board approved the lodging-tax grant recommendation and is forming committees for the Ranch Rendezvous and the town's 20th-anniversary event. The Water Utility board reviewed tank operations and received a demonstration of the SCADA system from Water Operator Jordan Flynn.
