Forest Service briefed commissioners on transmission line EIS, road projects and possible stronger fire restrictions

She said the notice of availability for the final environmental impact statement for the North Plains Connector transmission project was posted August 28 and that the North Dakota Public Service Commission held hearings; the Forest Service expects permitting and decisions to proceed into the coming months.
