Board approves ZCS engineering contract for Stearns Elementary seismic project
The Klamath County SD board approved an engineering and design contract with ZCS for the Stearns Elementary School gym and cafeteria seismic project after staff said ZCS was the sole bidder and has a history of performing district seismic work without complaints.

The Chair called the board to order and the board approved an engineering contract with ZCS for the Stearns Elementary School seismic project. Staff member said the solicitation for the gym and cafeteria seismic work went out July 22 with bids due August 7 and that a mandatory walkthrough July 27 was attended by only one firm; staff recommended intent to award the engineering and design contract to ZCS.
