The Nye County Water District voted unanimously May 26 to select GCW Inc. from responses to RFQ WD2026-01 to perform engineering design and site evaluation work tied to a Bureau of Reclamation WaterSMART Rapid Infiltration Basin grant. The motion to nominate GCW Inc. passed 5–0, with the manager noting that the RFQ selection process is qualifications-based and that price will be negotiated after selection.
