Cascade County commissioners on Feb. 27, 2026 denied an extension for Silver Falls Distillery's special-use permit (SUP #016-2019), reversing the Zoning Board of Adjustments by a 3-0 vote after staff background and public testimony.

The Cascade County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to deny the extension request for Silver Falls Distillery's special-use permit (Special Use Permit #016-2019) during a Feb. 27 special meeting. Commissioner Eric Hinebauch made the motion to deny and the board recorded a 3-0 vote to reverse the Zoning Board of Adjustments’ earlier approval.
