On Aug. 27 the Wayne County Commissioners unanimously approved multiple grant-related actions. The board approved the FY2025 Homeland Security Grant Program (HSGP) agreement between Pennsylvania counties and PEMA, authorized a three-year, no-cost extension to Sept. 30, 2029 on Small Business Administration Grant No. SBAHQ24I0030 (Small Farm Innovation Project), and approved Resolution No. 27-08-2026 authorizing Wayne County, on behalf of the Wayne County YMCA, to request a 2026 Monroe County Local Share (LSA) grant of $82,500 toward the YMCA project.
