The full story

During the work session commissioners and staff discussed several items requiring future formal action: personnel reclassification and hires for the property-appraisal office and probate clerk hire; a request that the chairman sign the FY2027 SSEPP; an application for a logging efficiency grant for the County Road 262 bridge over Cove Branch; a DCS SIM software agreement pending county attorney revisions; surplus equipment disposal or a live auction; and a proposed gravel donation to a volunteer fire association.
