Sheriff outlines TIP411 anonymous-tip app; Dawson County dispatch talks scheduled

Sheriff Richie briefed the Board on plans to use the TIP411 app to accept anonymous crime and safety tips and to issue public-safety alerts through participating agencies. Richie also reported that the county and Dawson County will hold another dispatch-contract negotiation on Sept. 15, 2026 at 1:00 p.m., and that Commissioner Bruce Bader will attend that meeting.
