District Engineer Charlie Krebs told the board May 26 that the submittal package for Pelican Sound gatehouse renovations is ready for submission to the Village of Estero but Bowman, Inc. must first issue checks; a processing delay resulted from the Memorial Day holiday and month‑end. South Florida Water Management District recently approved drainage repairs and a virtual pre‑construction meeting with SFWMD and Village of Estero officials is scheduled for June 1, 2026.
