The board invited guests from the Cumberland‑Perry Area Career & Technical Center to describe students’ experiences and program outcomes. Two Big Spring students — Alexis Mattern (early childhood education) and Chase Barrett (cosmetology) — spoke about hands‑on learning, industry certifications and postsecondary plans.
