Cherokee County adopts Resolution 05-2025 for Rural Opportunity Zone student loan repayment

The Cherokee County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Feb. 24 to adopt Resolution 05-2025, titled the Rural Opportunity Zone Student Loan Repayment Program. Commissioner Cory Moates moved for adoption; Commissioner Myra Carlisle Frazier seconded the motion, which passed by unanimous vote.
