Shelburne conservation commission proposes four priority goals for Town Plan update
The SNRCC compiled four priority goals for the Town Plan — public education, protection of forest blocks and ecological corridors, stewardship of conserved lands, and clean-water initiatives — and will refine narrative language for the Planning Commission.

Members of the Town of Shelburne Natural Resources and Conservation Commission discussed input requested by the Planning Commission for the Town Plan update. Commissioners noted maps from the regional planning commission were not yet available and raised a series of potential priorities including updated maps, outreach and education, protection of forest blocks and ecological corridors, bolstering the open space fund, conservation of working lands, flood resilience, and preserving conserved lands.
