Health department reports small grant cut and pushes sidewalk project forward

Laura Hageman, representing the county health department, told commissioners on Aug. 11 that the county’s immunization grant experienced very little reduction and that staff are pursuing additional grant opportunities. Hageman and colleagues hosted a 'Stop the Bleed' class on Aug. 5 for law enforcement and dispatch, and county staff joined school enrollment outreach and a back-to-school supplies distribution event.
