The committee unanimously forwarded RASE Board recommendations to approve community events including Earth Day (April 18), Celebrating the Spirit of 1776 (June 28), Edwardsville Rotary Criterium (Aug. 14–15), Unity Fest (Sept. 26), the Book Fair (Oct. 3), Living History Day (Oct. 4) and Wags at the Watershed (Nov. 7).

The Administrative and Community Services Committee on Feb. 12 voted to forward several event approvals recommended by the Recreation, Arts and Special Events (RASE) Board. The events and dates listed in the minutes are: Earth Day — Nature Preserve Foundation (Saturday, April 18); Celebrating the Spirit of 1776 — Madison County Historical Society (Sunday, June 28); Edwardsville Rotary Criterium — Edwardsville Rotary (Friday, Aug. 14 and Saturday, Aug. 15); Unity Fest — Edwardsville Unity (Saturday, Sept. 26); Edwardsville Book Fair — Edwardsville Library (Saturday, Oct. 3); Living History Day — Madison County Historical Society (Sunday, Oct. 4); and Wags at the Watershed — Partners for Pets (Saturday, Nov. 7). The committee recorded a motion by Will Krause, seconded by Andrea Miracle, and an all-aye vote to forward the approvals to City Council.
