Chairperson Laurie Jamison told the board that legal counsel advised there is no statutory deadline for appointing a County Road Commissioner but that the vacancy should be filled within a reasonable timeframe. Jamison reported counsel's advice during the June 11 meeting and commissioners discussed timing for an appointment.
