The Fairfield Selectboard opened and recorded five bids for Project Option 2 during its May 11 meeting, with Whitcomb showing the apparent low bid at $313,305.72 (3,549 tons). Town Administrator Cathy Ainsworth reviewed the Invitation to Bid requirements and answered procedural questions while David Davio of Pike Industries attended by Zoom to observe and note warranty terms.
