Commissioners approve pay increases and new formula for sheriff and undersheriff
The board approved a one-time adjustment to set the Sheriff salary at $89,194.00 and the Undersheriff at $82,823.00 and adopted a formula tying future pay to top deputy wages (Undersheriff = +30%; Sheriff = +40%). The measure passed despite two nay votes.

The Crawford County Board of Commissioners voted to change the salary schedule setting the Sheriff's salary at $89,194.00 and the Undersheriff's salary at $82,823.00. The motion was made by Commissioner Moore and seconded by Commissioner Goscicki; Commissioners Frederick and Lewis voted nay while the motion carried.
