Board members reviewed an addendum recommending the addition of a teaching position for the 2026–2027 school year to increase interventions and to establish gifted-and-talented instruction. The minutes state the position would be strategically funded from restricted portions of the general fund and that district staff believe the cost is sustainable because of an available gifted-and-talented fund balance.
