The Village Board on June 10 authorized a survey for a proposed replacement of the sanitary sewer main along County Road A, aligning village work with a planned county road reconstruction. Mark Digman of Delta 3 Engineering said the timing is favorable because a sinkhole on 1st Street and a failed pipe section under State Highway 35 indicate the need for replacement.
