Hamilton County approved Resolution 2025-9 on Jan. 28 to authorize future incremental property tax revenue (a TIF) for the city of Webster City and to proceed with a tax-abatement arrangement tied to a proposed development. Chair outlined sending the request "to me for a 15 year tax abatement for that property," and a board member confirmed that land taxes would still be collected.
