The International Drive CRA asked for roughly $156.1 million in FY27 funding for a package of transportation projects (transit service extensions, Trade Show Boulevard upgrades, a pedestrian overpass design), Tangelo Park housing repairs, and workforce programs including ESOL and a culinary pilot to support tourism employees.

Krista Taraszewski described the International Drive Community Redevelopment Agency’s FY26–27 budget request (~$156.1M) and explained planned transportation investments that support tourism employment and shift people off cars. The CRA requested $2.5M to continue extended transit service on key routes, $3M to complete the Kirkman Road extension rebate outturn, and $5.7M to progress Trade Show Boulevard permitting, mitigation and right‑of‑way work for a multi‑lane corridor that includes a dedicated transit lane.
