County approves CoreLogic data-share request to provide mortgage/escrow data

Commissioners approved a data-share with CoreLogic; staff described CoreLogic as a mortgage servicer that will pay WTH for data, and WTH will remit payment to the county in exchange for the property information.

County staff described a proposed data-sharing agreement in which CoreLogic, a mortgage-servicing firm, would receive certain property data from WTH. The staff member said CoreLogic pays WTH and that WTH would in turn pay the county in exchange for the requested data. A commissioner moved to approve the CoreLogic data-share request and the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote.
