Sheriff Nick Smith told the Harrison County Commissioners on Aug. 3 that construction at the Justice Center "is going well, the contractors have been great to work with, and they are progressing as quickly as possible." He said inmates continue to be housed in Washington County while work continues and that invoices are being paid in a timely fashion.
