Madras Public Works reports progress on infrastructure, housing and drainage projects
Public Works updated the commission on multiple projects: underground storm drainage on Cleveland/Birch/Third, Chenni Cottages grading permit and street connection, several occupied homes at a 10th Street Manufactured Home Park, Demers Pump Station bid timing moved to late March, and ODOT project bidding in April for summer construction.

Michele Quinn briefed the commission on several Public Works projects. Underground infrastructure installation (storm drainage and dry wells) is in progress on Cleveland, Birch and Third streets. A grading permit has been issued for Chenni Cottages on E Street; that development will include a public street connecting from the Eagle roundabout to E Street, while other interior streets will remain private.
