Board hears spray progress report and retention-pond pump issue
Staff reported spraying delays from wind and rain but said the herbicide is effective and that crews are down to about 20% of ditches remaining; a leak and pump failure on a detention pond were noted and staff said they will replace the pump and drain the pond.

Members heard an update that roadside spraying had been delayed by wind and rain but that the current program is producing strong vegetation control results. "We're down to 20% of the ditches to do," Paul Shriver said, adding that "the spray is working very well." The board noted the timing challenges and that weather-related delays had extended the work.
