The Memphis ISD Board of Trustees approved multiple student-facing policies and extracurricular rules for the 2026–2027 school year during its June 23 meeting. Sarah Cook presented the Student Code of Conduct, Student Handbook, the Extra Curricular/Athletic/Band Code of Conduct and the Memphis High School and Middle School Cheerleader Constitution; recorded motions and seconds led to unanimous 7–0 approvals on each item.
