Council to draft resolution opposing AES multi-year rate increase request to PUCO

At the July 20 meeting, Council Member Amy Welborn raised concerns about a utility rate filing she said AES had submitted to the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO). Welborn told council "AES is asking PUCO for a multi-year price increase" and said many residents had expressed concern about the potential impact on Covington households.
