Director reports new IT hire and multiple facility repairs at Cornelius Library
Director Maria Aguilar told the board the Library hired Ummea Salma as IT Analyst, repaired one water leak while a second leak damaged equipment at the service desk, and is replacing one malfunctioning HVAC unit; shelving installation is pending documentation and coordination with BrighHaven.

Library Director Maria Aguilar reported several operational updates at the Feb. 5 meeting. She announced the Library IT Analyst position has been filled from the prior applicant pool and welcomed Ummea Salma, described in the minutes as a former library volunteer, as the new hire.
