The Board of Garrett County Commissioners recognized Sheena Brenneman as the 2026 Garrett County Emergency Communications 9-1-1 Specialist of the Year during its Aug. 18 public meeting. Commissioners also acknowledged members of the Garrett 250th Committee by name: Sarah Myers, Missy Gralish, Karen Myers, Lis Morin, Chris Nichlos, Jason Rush, Nick Sharps, Holly Lane, Sarah Duck and Amber Sanders.
