The Drexel Heights Fire District Governing Board voted 3-1 to adopt amendments to the district fire code under Resolution 2026-10. Community Risk Reduction Director Dennis Stiegleiter told the board the changes were made so Drexel Heights would "match the Town of Sahuarita and Santa Rita Fire District" to ensure inspection consistency; the minutes record Ms. Dailey asking why the change was necessary.
