Administration presented the proposed 2024–25 compensation plan, which trustees approved. The plan includes a 4% salary increase for staff on the teacher pay scale (teachers, librarians and nurses), an increase in starting teacher pay to $57,000, a 2% increase for other employees, and a higher special-education teacher stipend ($7,500). Administration also proposed a $50-per-month increase in the district’s medical contribution, which staff said would cover about 99% of the increase for many employees on the employee-only plan.
