The Board of Supervisors on Sept. 1 approved an agreement from Origin Design, Dubuque, for professional services to perform bridge load ratings on three bridges in Black Hawk County at a cost of $7,000. County Engineer Catherine Nicholas recommended the contract, and Supervisor Justin Brandt moved the resolution with Ritch Kurtenbach seconding; the measure passed unanimously.
